Teresa comes over to her brother Joe’s table to congratulate him on this holiest of days, and you can already see trouble brewing in Joe Gorga’s eyes. ![]() For the first time, we meet Melissa Gorga, mother of Joey and Teresa’s estranged sister-in-law, and I totally respect her for squeezing in her baby’s baptism before a huge night at the slots, which is the only logical explanation for her wearing a hot-pink mini-toga with bedazzled neckline and chainwork to this event. Baby Audriana has so many feathers on her headpiece, it’s like somebody told that poor kid she was going to the royal wedding instead of her cousin Joey’s Christening. Since we can all use a little help in the nutrition and hydration department, we were excited to learn about Vitapod-an innovative system that helps people fill key nutrition and hydration gaps with very little effort, even while on the go.Īptly called Vitapod Go, this beverage system claims to help people feel more energized, maintain their hydration, improve skin’s appearance, and more. While a balanced diet with plenty of variety is optimal, not eating enough produce means we miss out on key nutrients (like potassium and vitamin C), as well as flavonoids, or plant compounds that have anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, and even anti-cancer properties.ĭehydration and nutritional gaps can leave us feeling sluggish and have a negative effect on the skin’s appearance-it can even make us more susceptible to illness. ![]() The data clearly shows a need for a solution that can help combat dehydration and fill nutrition gaps. If this had been darker with more intense witchy ghost business, I’d have been all over this.Įven yet, I still enjoyed it. The family name "Ong" just evolved out of play of words that was the BobOng Pinoy website. However, according to Bob Ong's account in Stainless Longganisa, he is not actually Filipino-Chinese. It wasn't until about the second half that I began to race through it a bit quicker. I found the first half of the book slightly laborious I was willing for something to happen. I think that once I knew this, I myself became aware of the many mentions of mortality, and how you are remembered after you die, and this may have affected my enjoyment of it. Both of the main heroines have the strongest friend groups. On top of that this had absolutely amazing female friendships. I loved and appreciated how the author dealt with the topic. This book really explored the vast range of the teenage experiences. These characters read like real teens – they make bad choices, they were messy, they were angsty, and it was absolutely fantastic. While, this started off a little slow, once the story got going I absolutely fell in love with these characters. This was really adorable and really well done. ![]() YA contemporary romance isn’t always my thing – but this book made me a believer.
